Mish Mash of Tangie's Stuff

A few days ago I just started digging through all of my old stuff by Tangie Baxter.  I always love everything she makes and it's all so... reusable!  LOL!  Sometimes I really enjoy looking through my stash and figuring out what looks good together.  In the process I think I discovered my style.  I LOVE how this page turned out.  I've been doing art journaling pages for some time now, but never felt I had a style of my own.  If you look through my pages they are ALL OVER THE PLACE!  But I think I'm finally ready to settle down with the one that makes me happy LOL.

Here's the page that will change everything:

Just a Boy- Kit by Aprilisa

I was floored when I saw this kit.  The first thing that caught my attention was the alpha!!  I would have paid the price of the kit for the alpha alone, but I tend to love every singe alpha this girl makes!  I want them ALL!!  Don't get me wrong, I love the kit too, green and black is one of my favorite color combos.  Anyway, you should know that this is a great kit and I promise, you'll have fun with it.

Project 2013: February by Connie Prince

Connie Prince is my Designer Partner this month at Ginger Scraps.  I know Connie from back when Linda and I owned My Life and Scrap... the "good old Days" LOL.  Connie is a really talented designer whom I've always admired, so it's an honor to work with her designs.

For my first page decided that the kit from Connie's Project 2013: February was just what I needed.  Mind you, this is a HUGE collection, I only used the kit.

I love Templates: Pack 23 by Inspired Designs

It's kind of funny, Leonard and I have very different tastes in scrapbook pages.  Hmm... maybe that's not the best way to start this post LOL.  After all, Leonard doesn't ask to see my scrapbooks or even take much interest when I force him to look at them, but when he does, he prefers the pages that have big pictures with only a few simple elements.  I like these pages too, in fact I'm leaning more and more toward them, especially since I resize my pages to 8x8 for printing.  When I saw this template pack by Inspired Designs I knew it was going to go right into my scrapbook.  I'm quite pleased with how this page turned out...
