Work it on out by lifescapes

Have you heard of lifescapes?  If not and you're an art journaler you'll want to get to know her.  Lifescapes is Andrea Boyer, a long time and very talented scrapper turned designer and I've been very fortunate to have been invited to play with some of her goodies.  She's currently guesting at The DigiChick, I really hope you'll take a moment to stop by and check out her shop.  You'll be glad you did.

I just finished another fun page using a kit by Sus Designs over at Bits2Kits.  The kit is called A Summer Day and it was just perfect for a couple pictures I had that I wanted to scrap.  If you're a fan of Orange you'll definitely enjoy this kit with Orange as one it's primary colors.

Happy Go Lucky by eNKay Designs

I love kits with hand drawn elements, they're PERFECT for art journaling pages.  When I saw "Happy Go Lucky" I knew that a journal page would be in the works within a day or two.  I decided to make a new page for my quote book (I should do a post about that).  It was a lot of fun and I LOVE how it turned out.

Ginger Scraps Pet Shop: My Dog by Kathy Winters

Today's page was one of those rarer events where I already have a photo and need the perfect kit.  Since I'm very fortunate to be on the GingerScraps creative team I'm free to pick up whatever kits I like so I went on a little mini shopping spree for this page.  I found some really good stuff too.  Check it out-

Black and White Only by Paula Kesselring

I'm afraid I forgot to mention that Paula Kesselring is guesting at a new shop called One Story Down, it seems to be a fun little place, very cute site.  Paula has put together a super fun new collection currently only available at One Story Down called Black and White Only- there is a Paper Set, an Element Set, a Ribbon Set and an Alpha Set.

I really REALLY had fun with this collection.  I decided to make a page for my quote book using Prompt #28 from the Art Journal Caravan.  I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

Vintage Circus by Sus Designs

Isn't it funny how tings come together?  I find that so many of the photos I take are influenced by scrap book kits.  I know it should be the other way around, but I think it's kind of fun.  Like Vintage Circus for example, this kit reminded me of how Morpheus jumps up on the little round foot stool and I always call him "Circus Dog" when he does it, that's a memory I want to always have!

SeaSide by FineCrafted Designs

I was so excited to see another new kit from Finecrafted Designs so soon after her last one.  This is a crazy busy girl, but some how she always finds the time to make something amazing.  The moment I saw SeaSide I immediately knew what I was going to do with it.  I have a list of all the quotes I want to put into my Quote Book (many are from the Art Journal Caravan) but the trouble is usually finding the right kit for the quote, so I hang on to them until the right one comes along.  Well, knock my socks off!  SeaSide was just what I'd been waiting for!

Americana Collab by Paula Kesselring and Studio 68

I always get so excited when Paula Kesslering comes out with something new to work with.  Why?  Because it's always something fun!  Like her newest release, a collab with Studio 68- Americana, I just LOVE it.  And it came at the perfect time, I'd been thinking a lot about our country's health care reform that is taking shape and this kit gave me the perfect excuse to journal about it.
