2 Kits by Unforgettable Moments

Unforgettable Moments is my Designer Partner for August at Ginger Scraps.  I'd been eyeing one of her kits for some time and figured this would be the time to snag it.  I had a great picture to use too, so this page was a lot of fun to make.  I also wanted to play in some of the fun challenges over at GingerScraps this month, but the time got away from me.  I think with all the heat we had I just lost my creativity.  But I did manage to grab the template from the second half Template Challenge.

Bad Student by Rucola Designs

I'm so excited to say that I have a new Creative Team- Rucola Designs!  Rucola Designs was one of our designers back in the days when Linda and I owned MLAS and she's only gotten better in time.  I feel very fortunate to be able to use her kits in my crafting.  I joined Rucola Designs CT just days before her newest kit Bad Student was to be released so I got to play with it.  I made a page for my quote book using the Art Journal Caravan prompt #18 (yes, I'm eternally playing catch up!) and I thought my page turned out nicely.

Destination: The Past by Sweet Digi Scrap

I've adored Liz of Sweet Digi Scraps as long as I can remember.  Her designs are amazing, she always has kits that are packed full of great elements and an assortment of papers and she designs in the more earthy tones that fit my style.  Liz just released a new kit called Destination: The Past at her shop at Scrap Takeout and it was absolutely perfect for some pictures I'd just taken of Kaycee and Morpheus.  I don't usually do multi-photo pages, but Liz also had a template that worked out perfectly.

Love You Forever by RoseyToes

A few weeks back I took a picture of mom with her flowers and I finally came across the perfect kit for my photo.  It took me a while to figure it all out because the template I was working with was all wrong.  Then I spotted this little gem and it all came together perfectly.

Hurray, it's Sunday by Camomile Designs

Oh my gosh!  It's been so hot the last week or so I've been completely zapped of all creative energy.  Yesterday was finally cooler so I was able to get a little bit of a re-boot.  I'm so ready for Fall.

I have a brand new kit to show you and a fun little page I made with it.  I wasn't sure what exactly I was going to do because this kit had a little bit of a theme going that doesn't really play into the lives of my dogs, but there were enough other elements to make it very versatile.  It was a nice challenge.

Funky Junk by Crowabout StuioB

I just finished another page for my quote book using the new kit by Crowabout StudioB- Funky Junk.  Nancy's kits are always perfect for my quote book pages because they're always something fun and funky that make me smile!  This page was for prompt #31, Art Journal Caravan.

The Freshness of Asia by S Designs

I'm running a little late getting a page done for my Bits 2 Kits designer from July, so this one isn't brand new, but still relatively new.  I thought this kit was really pretty.  The quality of the elements is top notch and I really like the fresh shades of green.  Very nice to play with.  I made another art journal page for my quote book, using a quote from Prompt #4- Art Journal Caravan.

Abstractions by Lifescapes and Girl Boy Girl Designs

I recently had the opportunity to create a page using designs by the amazingly talented Andrea Boyer who designs under the name Lifescapes.  I think that her goodies are so much fun to play with and they'er the  perfect addition for an avid art journaler.
