Creative Team Peeps by Crowabout StudioB
Nancy (of Crowabout StudioB) has outdone herself yet again. Every time I think she's hit her creative high she exceeds it! Seriously, this girl is amazing!
So, here's the story behind the Creative Team Peeps. Some body on the Creative Team suggested Nancy give us some parts and let us build some peeps for her. I don't know if it was a serious suggestion or if it was said in jest but the dream became a reality. It was a super fun, multi-step process that started with Nancy dissecting the peeps from their comfy magazine pages then she sent them to the Creative Team. We altered them by giving them new eyes and noses and mouths and hair and bodies, feet and arms then sent them back to Nancy. Next Nancy dissected our peeps and has made them available for you to put together however you see fit! Only the very best peeps made it into the kit whole.
Here are my two journal pages I made using the peeps I put together:

TempBlends Vol. 10 by Jenn Lindsey
Jenn's TempBlends are so much fun. It's such a different way of scrapping for me. I love it. Plus it's a way to get an extra photo on a page. I typically only put one photo on a page but with Jenn's TempBlends I'm inspired to be a little more creative. Head over to her store and take a look.
I can't believe I'm half way through my guest stay with Jenn already. Time sure does fly.

You're Invited (a collab) by Crowabout StudioB and Tumble Fish Designs
Oh My GOSH!!!!!! I've dreamed of this kit happening for AGES now it has finally come to pass. Any thing by Crowabout StudioB is at the top of my list and then you throw in my secret admiration of Tumble Fish Designs and I'm just in altered art heaven!
I'm still participating in the Round Robin Swap over at Deviant Scrap and this kit came when it was my turn to make a page for Carrie- her theme is "Fairies". In case you're wondering how it all works you can see the tab above or click HERE.

Accidental Art Doll by Beth Rimmer
I am LOVING art dolls right now. I think I've said that before. But really. Making pieces like this one has become such a fun thing for me. I'm never lacking mojo any more. These pieces are like releasing my muse on a play date... I don't know how else to describe it. It gives me a break from the "rules" of scrapping and allows my muse to enter a world of pure imagination where anything goes!

I had fun scrapping the road trip pictures of Emily using Meredith Cardall's new kit Road Trip. I also used the second template in the Beautiful Earth template set by Jenn Lindsey. I LOVE how this turned out. The big picture is one of my favorites of Emily.

Beautiful Earth Templates by Jenn Lindsey
A while back I applied for a guest spot on Jenn Lindsey's creative team. August is my month, I'm very excited. Jenn's templates are so unique and I'm a huge fan of templates to begin with. The first thing I grabbed from Jenn's store was her new release, Beautiful Earth. I already had the perfect photo and kit to go with one of the templates. I knew exactly what I wanted to do, the moment I saw it.
Here's what I made using Jenn's template from Beautiful Earth:

Art (Doll) Therapy by Beth Rimmer
I'm running behind on this one. The amazing and talented Beth Rimmer released a new kit, Art (Doll) Therapy, while I was on vacation, so I'm playing catch up... I couldn't miss out, it's SO FUN! Art dolls seem to be quite the rage lately, and I can see why. There is so much to be expressed through these little beauties. The page I made actually holds a lot of symbolism. I didn't have much to write, but I had a lot to say.
